After some experimenting we succeeded in locating a suitable section, where we are now -. ing them in quantity for the third 3rear. The idea is to furnish runners and plants from beds for potting uo and growing on through t he summer for fall and winter sales. The above photo shows how luxuriantly they grow in a semi-tropical cfimate without the cost i ■! artificial heat, thus enabling us to furnish plants at less than half the previous cost when grown under glass; at the same time, we believe they will do better from the fact of their being grown naturally or without forcing.
