{here is not perhaps todaym"'prominent general nursery, seed or floral establishment in the United States
which does not offer one or, many varieties of
plants, trees, flowers and seeds which were, brought into existence on my grounds;. All foreign countries where plants
can be grown have growers and dealers who cultivate
and.prize them?/ Long ago they encircled the earth in all
directions. Millions of people grow them and for the
past forty years there has been a steadily increasing world
wide demand for BURBANK FLOWER SErZDS, which
have been scattered hete and there through the catalogues of
other dealers, and never until last year offered direct
from the producer.
The BUKBANK FLOWEK SEEDS were offered
at retail under the Burbank Se,al for the first time last season
in a few of the larger cities by the Santa Rosa Board of
Trade. The demand for them was most astounding; peo'
pie stood in line for hours awaiting their turn to purchase,
the lines in some cases extending a block or two even with
the aid of numerous extra helpers employed by the dealers
who had secured tpe right to sell them. But even more
gratifying was the fact that the seeds gave abounding satisfaction; the call for "Mr. Burbank's Seeds'' is now even
more urgent than before. Quality is the sole atim, with no
desire to compete in price.
